Sanford Sustainable Fishing Limited (http://www.sanford.co.nz) is a major New Zealand operator of a sustainable fishing and processing activities. The company’s Group Engineering recently completed Phase I testing of using CorrosionX products for reducing corrosion growth and preventing new corrosion on their fishing trawlers.
The Group Engineering Manager has provided us the following positive report on their tests.
Most skippers around the world will know that the sea conditions around New Zealand can be rather boisterous. The off shore fleet fishing between Stewart Island ( 48 degrees south and down to Antarctica) is also exposed to high winds and frost.
Sanford is pleased with the results of the tests and anticipate further deployment of a CorrosionX Corrosion Prevention Program on additional trawlers as well as within their workshops. The company is also evaluating implementing a CorrosionX program on the newest addition to their trawler fleet which is coming from Norway and will be the largest trawler operating in New Zealand.
